In 2007, the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) worked with Oxford
publishing to release a series of course companions for the IB Diploma student.
These guides are designed to support students through the IB Diploma program with
advice and guidance on the syllabus and assessment requirements.
These guides are currently available at the P.S. Miller library in Castle Rock.
You can use the library copies to preview the guides and decide if you want to purchase
them for your student, or simply borrow them for study.
Best prices are at
http://www.amazon.com Search for "IB Diploma Programme" or "IB
Course Companions" or
click here (we'll do the search). They're also
available at the Oxford University Press (US), where they are
priced at $40 each plus shipping.
www.oup.com/us.
Students are not required to purchase these books, but the IB
teachers have looked at sample copies of these and consider them
helpful and user-friendly for students who would like additional
resource material.
Any students or families who wish to sell used copies of their guides, please email: newsletter@huskieibpo.com
